Limited community engagement- The Malawi community faces challenges in terms of limited engagement and collaboration among the contributors. This results in the contributors working in isolation in providing content. Content Creation - Due to minimum and low collaboration of the contributors, the content that is created can result in duplication or not complete content as per requirement as each contributor will only be able to share their area of expertise. Awareness and ownership of the platform - There is need to someone to conduct awareness and be able to create groups that will be creating and providing content to provide the required content that is informational, educative and entertaining to the users

Conduct community empowerment workshops to enhance skills for the Malawian Contributors, making sure that they understand Wikipedia Editing techniques, collaboration skills, project management and more Conduct content creation campaigns, launching contests, and collaborative initiatives to enrich Wikipedia with diverse and high quality articles. Involve communities on the content creation, using influencers, to reach out to everyone Provide seminars, webinars, and community outreach to raise awareness for open knowledge within Malawi Monitoring and evaluation of all the processes that are being carried out in the project, making sure that we are able to track progress, assess impact of activities, gather feedback and be able to provide Wikipedia on updates of the project. Provides solutions that we make sure that the project is still running, through the provision of mentorship, creating new relationships for collaborations and community involvement.

Engage the existing Wikipedia Contributors and new interested contributors and engage them in enhancing Wikipedia Editing skills, leadership and collaboration ideas. Collaborate with Schools, communities and organizations to involve students and professionals interested in contributing to Wikipedia projects work with local influential people that will be ambassadors that will encourage people participation and raising awareness

The engagement of the participants shall include, use of social media, community forums to announce upcoming activities and create awareness, generating interest among the participants, bringing together those that are already contributing and the would be content providers to have a question and answer session that will encourage collaboration among participants. Creation of workshops and events will be shared all over the social media to make sure participants share their experience, insights, and contributions. Provide surveys together feedback, areas of interests and improvements with the overall user experience. provide online forums where the participants can always interact with one another, sharing ideas, seeking advice and collaborating on projects. Providing mentorship programs that will bring in the experienced and new participants together and pair them on projects on the Wikipedia platform to provide ongoing support, guidance and skills development.
