The change am trying to bring is most of the institutions in Borno State have no photos in wikimedia commons, wikidata and English Wikipedia The problems am trying to solve is to make the photos visible in wikimedia commons and to be usable in other Wikipedia sister projects such as wikidata and English Wikipedia for educational use, as there are no photos of these institutions in wikimedia commons and English Wikipedia. As articles of these institutions will be created on Kanuri Wikipedia it will be better to have their photos available for a better understanding of such places.

Alternatively, you can upload a timeline document. When the activities include partnerships, include details about your partners and planned partnerships.

The plan activities are as follows: The photo walk will be of five (5) institutions of learning in Borno State , so it will be (5) walks with 4 photographer's, two of the team members will use digital cameras while the other two will use their smart phone's, after the photos are taken 4 interested student from each institutions will be invited to attend an event on the sixth day for the photos to be uploaded to wikimedia commons.

The photo walk that will add 250 clear pictures of these institutions, 50 in each institution. The places to be covered in each institutions are as follows.

  • Fuculties.
  • Libraries.
  • Departments.
  • Structures.
  • And Institutions Gates.

An event will be organized for the pictures taken to be shared amongst participants to be uploaded to wikimedia commons and later on to be linked to Thier various articles.

we have contacted the institutions authority and are pleased with the ideas of the project and is a welcomed idea.

It was discussed on the community Whatsapp group and then the institutions authority are contacted and is welcomed by both parties The Nigerian Commons Photographers User Group was contacted and will give their assistance in making sure the project will be successful.
