Kenya's rich cultural heritage could be overlooked or lost to time. The goal of the Wiki Love Human Living Heritage project is to enable librarians across to take an active role in maintaining and advancing this living heritage on Wikipedia. Through bridging the digital gap, this project aims to establish a long-lasting network of skilled librarians who will assist in documenting Kenya's extensive heritage of living culture. We also want to raise awareness about the Wikimedia movement among Kenyan librarians. We hope to recruit and teach new editors through photo campaigns and upload sessions to Wikimedia Commons as well as to contribute to sister projects.

During the Wiki Loves Human Living Heritage campaign, volunteers will shoot images connected to the Human Living Heritage in Kenya, including types of rituals and how they are done by different communities, such as tradition weddings, music, farming, sacred trees, and foods. On the first day, we will kick off the event and provide participants with guidelines regarding the project's goal. On the second day, we will go on a photo walk around two different regions to capture images of the local heritage. This will foster the desire to protect and value these kinds of places. Afterwards, we will get training on uploading images and videos to Wiki Commons. We plan to conduct extensive social media efforts to educate, inspire, and encourage contest participation

They have a significant presence in the local community and actively participated in Wikimedia projects, First 1 Lib 1 reference Campaigns in Kenya that take place in the year 2020, she played the responsibility of mobilizing Kenyan librarians to join the initiative.

We target Kenyan librarians who are usually eager to participate in Wikimedia activities. We will use social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Twitter, and Facebook. We will also use our personal networks to spread the news. To follow up with participants following events, we will hold a recap session to assess the impact of our campaign, assess its success, and get useful feedback from participants. Female gender will be strongly encouraged to participate.

I am a librarian working for the Kenya National Library Service, so I met with a few librarians to discuss the idea, and they are ready for the program. We also settled to keep the participants by forming a wiki-club in the library. Once the proposal is successful, Consolata, who is in charge of the program's promotion and outreach, will post information about it on all Kenya National Library social media platforms.
