6. What is the change you are trying to bring? What are the main challenges or problems you are trying to solve? Describe this change or challenges, as well as main approaches to achieve it. (required)

We want to contribute to the international campaign Wiki Loves Africa with photos related to the theme of the year 2024 "Africa Create". Photos related to the theme from Nigeria will be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons. This competition will also help to retain our members for the photographic contributions on Wikimedia Commons and also to recruit new members to the competition as well as to our community.

Alternatively, you can upload a timeline document. When the activities include partnerships, include details about your partners and planned partnerships.

We will use adoptive reflection on the importance of Wiki Loves Africa through the creation of content on social networks with information based on Wikimedia projects to promote the visibility of the movement and the campaign, and communicate the information to Nigeria professional photographers.

We will also use our Whatsapp group and Telegram, and also our metapage to communicate and let relevant Wikimedian know about this campaign.

We will then organize information and training sessions to interested in order to show them the feasibility of the campaign, how to take photos, what kind of photos to shoot, how to upload photos, how to use photos on Wikimedia projects.

El-hussain14: Project lead, will lead the overall project development and implementation activities, facilitate access to the areas targeted by this project, ensuring compliance to the grant commitments and reporting to the Project on progress and status of campaign.

Mamman AA: Co-organizer, in charge of partnership. His role is to mobilize people around the project, co-train interested in participating to the campaign

The contest is open to everyone. There is no exception. Anyone, Nigerians or not, actual wikimedians or not, having photos from Nigeria related to the contest's theme will be welcome to participate. We will encourage professional photographers to participate in the contest with the purpose to have photos of quality. Before and during the activities, we will engage the participants through the communication, organization of meetings. In order to follow up the participants after the activities, we will create a communication channel with the participants in order to keep contact with them.
