the group is very recent, we were contacted in december 2022 to be a contributor on wikipedia. at the start, we were 4 girls, from 3 regions of Madagascar (Analamanga - DIANA - Boeny). And we had coaching sessions with the Benin community twice a week. Each regional representative then put together a small team to run the activities in each region. In Analamanga, the country's capital, we have two leaders (Anai171 - Cactus0625), in the Boeny region, we have 2 leaders (Lalinah - Crito procta) and in the DIANA region in the extreme north, we also have 2 leaders (Sishan2405 - Chirocca77). Last March, we received funding that enabled us to organize a workshop as part of the Francophone contribution month. This event took place in the Boeny region, and was also the first presidential meeting for the group. This training enabled us to train around fifteen young people. On each occasion, we try to find funding so that each region can participate. Unfortunately, we haven't yet had the opportunity to do so, perhaps for the present event.

9. Who are the target participants and from which community? How will you engage participants before and during the activities? How will you follow up with participants after the activities? (required)

For the WLE event, we're targeting young photographers who are just starting out, but who also like to write. We'll be holding a workshop on contributing to wikipedia, its sister projects, community organization and advantages. To keep the energy in the community going, we're trying to take part in all the events proposed for communities.

Number of participants, editors, and organizers

Number of editors 30 During the workshop on contributing to Wikipedia, we developed a program in which young contributors work in pairs to modify an existing article. As the theme focuses on biodiversity, we'll be working on articles about Madagascar's protected areas. So at least 30 articles will be improved.
