The foremost changes we're focusing on is to increase and manage freely licensed and high quality images of natural heritages in Nepal, that will be contributed to Wikimedia Commons for free usage and spread its importance by its utilisation in Wikipedia articles.
There are still 1000s of articles which lacks proper graphical and textual contents in Wikipedia and it's sister projects. The major challenges is to identify and gradually fill those articles with graphical contents via this event.
Our major approaches & strategies are to achieve high number of quality and productive photographs of natural heritages and protected areas in different categories. With a theme of "Right person at right job" we're deploying photographers as our executive team member for this event. Along with that we're approaching photography institutions and organizations as our event associates which helps both of us to create a better contents and exposures.

- Awareness session - May 04 and 11 (Awareness session about WLE collaborating with photographers)
- Photowalks - May- 18 and 25 (Photowalk collaborating with Freelance photography groups)
- Photoride - June 01 - June 05 (at Chitwan and Parsa District)
- Photo Edit-a-thon - June 8 (to add uploaded photo to wikimedia projects)
- Closing of the event - June 15

All the active contributors of Wikimedia projects and user groups operating in Nepal will be our foremost target audience for participation and execution. Apart from that we'll be organizing promotional events in colleges and photography organizations in different parts of the nation to boost large participation.
Regarding engagement of participants before and during event. We'll be executing promotional awareness session via online platform and offline meet-ups before execution. We'll be engaging team and participants via awareness session, photo walk, photo ride during the event time. And afterwards we'll be organizing photo edit-a-thon session to filter and place the contributed photographs in related articles.
Also, we're running the awareness session for all the known and unknown audiences via online and offline platforms regarding event, duration, license, terms of usage and proper placing of the contents. Along with that we'll be focused on recognizing and admiring the contributors, associates and jury with all kind of operating supports and motivation needed during all kind of session to be organized.
