Within the Nigerian community little is known about Wikidata and as a result, the contributions to this Wikimedia project have been limited to just a few active editors. Wikidata 10th Birthday is an opportunity to bring about advocacy on using Wikidata which is the storage of structured data of the Wikimedia project for knowledge sharing and free knowledge tools.

We hope to achieve our goal by bringing in experienced Wikimedians from the Nigeria Usergroup

We will be working with a host of experienced Wikimedians. These would include the core team of the Ilorin Wikimedia Hub, James Moore200, Bukky654, Major Lyte, Prithee P and all will be working on a volunteer basis.
