In the society where we found ourselves today ,violence against children have became one of our major problems.Where you can have more than one victim in one street or the other .As such problems, keep on repeating itself again and again,I and my team sat down and came up with the idea of raising an awareness and a call to write on Violence against children in hausa wikipedia,within kaduna metropolis,kaduna state.Therefore,this project aims to bring solutions to the following problem:
- 1.Causes of violence against children within hausa society
- 2.Risks factor
- 3.Impact of violence .
(a).A two days awareness will holds within Kaduna metropolis, kaduna metropolis comprises three different local government areas.These are kaduna north,kaduna south,and Igabi.To educate them on the strategies for ending violence against children. (a).Two days edit-a-thon will take place immediately after the two days awareness have taken place.Where any forms of violence against children articles will be created,translated ,polish of existing articles,uploading photos on commons and new users recruitment.

We plan to holds a two days awareness and two days edit-a-thon within kaduna metropolis: Day:1&2.Conducting a two days physical awareness and sensitization within kaduna metropolis. Day:3&4.Two days Edit-a-thon will be organized which will fully focus on creating new articles,translations and polishing existing articles.Particularly on any forms of violence against children articles.So also new bees will be recruited on this same days.

1.Hamza Abdullahi(username: Hamxo) project coordinator and I will lead all the project activities.I have been taking part in hausa Wikipedia project since 2019 and I have three funded grants in which I carried out successfully.

- 3.Saminu Haruna (username: Ningi and S.H Ningi) welfare in charge and will be the in charge of refreshments.He has been taking part in different Wikipedia projects and event within Hausa community,since 2021
