My name is Psalmdavid Ekpo, a content creator from Nigeria with huge experience on content creations and also lead various content creation hubs in Nigeria. I have been editing Wikipedia since 2015 but only via anonymous edits until recently that I was part of some community trainings and felt the need to now register so I can contribute my quota to the Nigeria community aswell. This project is primarily target at content creators in Nigeria who constitute a good portion of social media influence in Nigeria, so the project will be inform of a month contest where content creators will be made to produce content on what they like about Wikipedia and why should people contribute.

Tell us how you'll carry out your project. Be sure to answer the following questions:
1. What content will the contest focus on, and why is it important to your community?

The content will mainly focus on video content where content creator participants explain what they like about Wikipedia and why should more peoiple contribute. Its important for the Nigeria community as it will go along way in creating more awareness about Wikipedia.

2. How have you let relevant Wikimedia communities know about this proposal? You are required to provide links to on-wiki pages to inform these communities about your proposed work. Examples of places where this can be done include community discussion pages, affiliate discussion pages, or relevant project talk pages.
You may also provide information about external social media channels you may be using.

Content creating group which i am an admin on Facebook will be used aswell, they include: Content creator hub, Rant HQ with almost 40,000 members and many more

3. How will you let participants know about the contest? In what ways will you be communicating with them?
For example, these can include on-wiki spaces, social media channels, mailing lists, messaging apps, or physical/online gatherings.

We Will:
  1. Notify people through Wikimedia Nigeria mailing list.
  2. Make a Facebook event
  3. Social media ad

4. How will you judge the contest and award prizes?
Note: Grantees, judges, and other contest leaders are ineligible to receive prizes. Grantees who are serving as judges may not receive gifts through grant funding.

We will judge by the number of likes the content has and also set up a team of experienced content creator jury which will be announced later. The prizes will be giving to them as vouchers.
