The project is coordinated by Marios Magioladitis, wikipedian and school teacher and is supported by:

  • Konstantinos Skiadopoulos (educator/trainer)
  • Dimitrios Adamantios Dritsas (educator/trainer)
  • Geraki (trainer and technical support)
  • Angelos Giannelos (designer - technical support)

We have created a website (http://edu.wikimedia.gr) with learning software and the course material. Hosting cost is covered by geraki.

The course material is consisted by tutorial videos, help pages, texts specifically about the Wikipedia Education program, etc.

Part of the material is the Wikipedia in Education 12-part video series with greek subtitles created by members of the WM User Group Greece.

Plans include to create more video tutorials. Feedback from the teachers had very positive comments about them.

We have already translated the Instructor Basics: How to Use Wikipedia as a Teaching Tool brochure and we would like to send a printed copy to each of the participants. We expect that it will be handed to more teachers, colleagues of our participants.

What resources do you need? For your funding request, list bullet points for each expense and include a total amount.

  • Print materials (Handouts, certificates, etc.)
  • Swags
  • Postage costs
