Project Goal

[edit]

Briefly explain what are you trying to accomplish with this project, or what do you expect will change as a result of this grant. Example goals include, "recruit new editors", "add high quality content", or "train existing editors on a specific skill".

Having organized several Wikipedia events, We found out that Wikipedians especially members of WIkiActivate are lacking in the knowledge of other Wikimedia Projects such as Wikiquotes, Wikidata, WikiVoyage etc, This training will aim to give emphasis on other Wikimedia Projects in particularly Wikiquote and Wikidata.
The main objective of this project is to expand Wikimedia knowledge and community engagement on the use of other Wikimedia Projects other than Wikipedia. We will give emphasis on the use of Wikiquotes and Wikidata. We will also give an overview of other useful Wikimedia projects such as Wikimedia Commons, Wikibooks, etc.
