Hello Polimerek, Thank you for putting this thorough report together and our apologies for the delay in response. It was great to see you had met and exceeded many of your target outcomes. I am including a couple of follow up questions for you to consider:

  1. How would you adapt the early registration process for future events?
  2. It was great to see your efforts to make sessions remotely accessible! How would you work to increase awareness of online participation during future sessions?

  1. Regarding the registration - this is the most tricky part of this conference. In fact - it does not depend on organizers but rather on involved chapters and user groups which are having problems with their internal decision's processes. I am not quite sure if it possible to organize this better taking into account the current Wikimedia Movement structure. One can either be very strict with deadlines but it might end up with a lot of people not coming, or be less restrictive which - more or less - ends up with some mess and late applications.
  2. Maybe - the good idea would be to prepare and announce in all possible channels a dedicated on-line calendar with clickable links to future streams - but it would require hiring professional streaming service with large enough capacity of transfer.
