Feedback and Endorsement from Uncle Bash007[edit]

During my Wikipedia activities, I use to come across a number of Redlinks in which some are present under English Wikipedia and some doesn't exist. The idea of many editors working as a group in filling this gap is also worth considering. I mean; why leave a Redlink, when you can create a stub! This project will be a great success and I therefore Support.Uncle Bash007 (talk) 21:54, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not funded[edit]

Hello Sanusi Gado, thank you for submitting your grant application. We appreciate your interest in contributing to the mission of the Wikimedia Movement. We are continuously strengthening our grants review process, ensuring that grant funding is being invested towards impactful projects and efforts geared towards contributing to the mission of Wikimedia Movement in the most efficient and effective manner.

After a thorough review of your application, we have decided to not fund your Rapid Fund request. Here are the main reasons for our decision:

  • Lack of capacity: The applicant or the team did not show sufficient capacity and experience on and off Wikimedia projects to run the project. We recommend gaining more experience on Wikimedia projects as a contributor and trainer of proposed projects.
  • Low impact, unclear scope, and duplications of efforts: The proposal does not demonstrate sufficient impact. We request that for any future applications, you work together with the local affiliate in a coordinated manner to avoid duplications of efforts, low impact projects, and ensure efficient use of resources.
