Still new, but highly motivated. I support but please decrease your expectations in terms of photo produced. 1000 is unreasonable and if you try to reach that amount, I know without any doubt that you will upload some poor quality filling images. Please focus on qualify. Make sure participants understand why it is important to participate, explain them local laws, get them up to speed with Commons categories, promote the contest, focus on producing quality and useful (curate participants pictures before upload). Hoping to see you there next year !

Rapid Fund Request Approved[edit]

Thank you for applying to the rapid fund program. We have approved funding in the amount of 1,818,181 XOF. Please see the comments below linked to the funding decision;

  • We recommend that you include other Wikimedians in Togo in the participation of the campaign since you are serving as the main coordinator of the campaign in the country.

You need to clearly define what editors in the event are able to do, what actions the editors can take after the event - how about after 6 months, and what support the group is providing to make this possible. Putting SMART objectives together with clear metrics will support you in assessing whether the project is working or not, and this is beyond quantitative metrics. We hope to see these learnings in the report you share.

Please note there are other ways of tracking editor growth and retention; here is a tutorial on how to use PAWS to query retention with this template and a tutorial in English - we understand the language of the materials can be limiting; therefore, please let us know if you would like us to organize a call to review the materials with French interpretation. We would like you to deepen your approach to tracking retention beyond just the number of attendees. VThamaini (WMF) (talk) 09:42, 18 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
