Follow-up questions from Programme Officer[edit]

Hello @JogiAsad,

Thank you once again for putting in an application.

It was also lovely to connect earlier in May.

I've reviewed your application and have further questions. Would it be possible to receive your responses by some time this week and we'll target to provide an update on funding outcomes by next week.

Follow-up Questions

1) Could you provide a timeline for your project? Here are examples - Wikimedia Thailand/Calendar; other rapid fund applicants (see high level project plan)

2) Could you provide more elaboration of the team members who you will be collaborating to implement your project? For example, in addition to their wiki user name, what is their background and experience within the wikimedia movement, what role would they take on for the project, what would be expected of them? You can also include your role and the tasks you will take on.

3) As part of your learning question 15, "We wanted to learn how people respond and how they come forward to contribute towards their culture and other topics on Wikimedia and it's sister projects.". How do you hope to learn about this? For example, would it be through data collection, qualitative surveys, quick poll pre/post session, anecdotal feedback etc? How will you gather, use and analyse the data/information so that it is useful for you to learn the above and apply it for your next campaign?

4) Are there other Wiki Loves Folklore organisers and campaigners that you collaborate with/ would like to learn from/ could provide the peer support and spurring that you need? No worries also if the answer is no. This question seeks to understand the network and connections across movement organisers and the support that you need.

5) There is a slight typo/ formula error in your budget, could you fix it and confirm the. budget that you are requesting in your local currency?

Here are recommendations for inclusion in your learning report

  • In your final report for this grant, would you be able to include links (event news in local print and electronic media of Pakistan) on how you have engaged participants with the hope to increase awareness? If you are using social media these can also include indicators such as click throughs, engagements/ interaction with the post etc, reporting both baseline and change in engagement level during the campaign.
  • As well as a segment on reflections on your learning question.

Thank you.
