Impact of the project[edit]

The project's impact is measurable. The project has both short and long-term impacts. For the short impact, it will bring together editors that will improve articles related to health in Nigeria. For the long-term impact, the project aims to create an annual regional campaign that would focus on health.

Lastly, I have been informed of the project and my roles and I will be available to offer my support. Taoheedah (talk) 06:56, 19 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sustainability and impact[edit]

This is the first time this kind of training is coming up in Nigeria and it will make a lasting impact on the community by improving, creating and translating health-related articles. Also, the sustainability of the project is hinged towards the mainstreaming of the participants into Wiki Project Medicine, a thematic organization responsible for curating health related articles on Wikipedia. Partially Funded[edit]

Hello  thank you for applying for the rapid fund grant. We reviewed and approved the grant in the amount of 1,380,050 NGN ($900 USD) with the following comments;

  • We recommend that the team reviews the budget line items related to logistics, food and beverages, including travel and accommodation. Doing this especially to reflect a leaner and realistic number of participants based on the impact metrics identified.
  • It is strongly recommended that the team leads take particular care during the project to ensure that no page vandalism occurs in the course of implementing this project.

Best of luck with your project!

Best regards, (On behalf of the Middle East and Africa regional funds team) ~~~~ YPam (WMF) (talk) 13:18, 26 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for approving this proposal, The budget for food and others will be streamlined to fit the amount approved.
And also as indicated in the grant, the project will be closely monitored to ensure zero vandalism, only existing medical editors will carry out major editing while new editors will be introduced to the project. Tesleemah (talk) 14:57, 26 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
