Endorsment from A Sulaiman Z (talk)[edit]

I am pleased to endorse the proposed project, "Wikipedia Translation Local Meetup and Community Engagement, Kaduna". This project seeks to engage the local community in Kaduna, Nigeria to translate Wikipedia content into local languages and increase participation in the Wikimedia community.

As a supporter of open knowledge and community-led initiatives, I believe that this project has the potential to make a positive impact in promoting access to information and diversity in online knowledge resources. By involving the local community in the translation process, the project will not only contribute to the growth of Wikimedia content in local languages, but also create a sense of ownership and empowerment among community members.

I strongly recommend this project and encourage the grant committee to consider funding it. I am confident that it will achieve its objectives and make a valuable contribution to the Wikimedia community.

Not Funded[edit]

Hello Iliyasu Umar, thank you for applying for a Rapid Grant. After reviewing your application, we have decided not to fund this project. The reason for this decision being that there are ongoing activities within the targeted community which are very similar to this proposed project. We recommend that this project team engage with the Hausa Wikimedians UserGroup in future, to avoid potential duplication.
