1. Addressing a Critical Gender Gap: The gender gap on Wikipedia is a well-documented issue, and our workshop specifically aims to address this problem in the context of Kano. By focusing on Kano, we can make a meaningful impact on a local level while contributing to the global efforts of achieving gender equality on Wikipedia.

2. Collaboration and Expertise: The Hausa Community User Group possesses valuable expertise and experience in the Wikimedia movement. 3. Local Context and Empowerment: The workshop will be tailored to the specific needs and challenges faced by women in Kano. 4. Measurable Outcomes and Evaluation: We have developed a robust monitoring and evaluation plan to track the impact of the workshop.
