Koshur Collective is a collaborative academic space, co-created by Deoband Community Wikimedia and the Kashmiri Wikimedians User Group, aiming to promote interests of both the affiliates in the larger region of Kashmir - majorly in academic areas, alongside helping identify the areas that require attention in terms of development.
History
[edit]The collective was formed as a part of DCW's half-yearly strategic plan for April-September 2024. Initial meetings were held at Jamia Millia Islamia and a formal meeting on the collective's need was held on 2 June 2024 on Google Meet. The collective organized its first in-person meetup on 9 June 2024 at Verinag Spring.
