This peer learning program is a program that creates an open and safe learning space for selected wikimedians, who are also registered Let's Connect participants, to learn different skills: Organisational issues and access to funds, Programme tactics, Interpersonal skills, Skills related to Wikimedia projects.
Purpose
[edit]The Let's Connect Peer Learning Program in Tanzania is aimed at training selected Wikimedians on specific Wiki skills and program tactics and also providing assistance for them to help them attend learning clinics.
The program also aims at creating horizontal and flexible forms of learning amongst group members – people who have come together to learn the same skills and are driven by the same mission. It will also provide a comfortable and safe environment for different stages of learning: not only gaining knowledge, but putting that knowledge into practice, receiving constructive feedback, reflecting on what was learned, and making the learning process more socially connected and fun.
Members will have increased skills and abilities through diverse formats and connections.
