On the occasion of en:Gandhi Jayanti/en:International Day of Non-Violence, Punjabi and Hindi Wiki Community from Chandigarh organized a meetup at en: Punjab University on 2nd October 2017 at Chandigarh.

[edit]- Discussion and review was held for availability of material related to Mahatma Gandhi on Punjabi and Hindi Wikipedias.
- A small editathon was conducted to create/organise the various articles/templates related to this subject.
- Many articles/categories related to this subject were linked with Wikidata.
- Discussion was done on ways to improve collaboration between Hindi and Punjabi Wikis.
- It was discussed to increase frequency of such meetups in Chandigarh.
