Labs² is an open collaboration between Wikipedians, academics and foundation staff working to build knowledge about Wikipedia, wikis and open collaboration. The scholarly research community studying Wikimedia projects, the Wikimedia Foundation, and the Wikimedia community all have a shared interest in answering research questions about Wikimedia projects using public datasets, developing new tools and sharing their work with others. Labs² support these activities.
We track project ideas , keep an index of ongoing projects and hold regular distributed hackathons . Everyone is welcome to participate. Add your name to our member list to be contacted about new events.
