Talk:Logos.Wiktionary

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

My impressions of Logos -- they have a real love of gathering freely-reusable information, though they have a good bit to learn about copyright law.

I'm not sure how I feel about this name, but coordinating work between Dicologos (their dictionary) and Wiktionary rather than duplicating effort would be wonderful. Their content is basically a translation-dictionary limited to short definitions, the words themselves, properties of the word (structured metadata about plurals, gender, etc), and synonyms; it is produced by a body of ~6000 translators, volunteering in their spare time. +sj | Translate the Quarto |+ 13:59, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
