Number[edit]

Why is this "English South Coast 1"? There have been two Portsmouths, so wouldn't this be English South Coast 3? --Redrose64 (talk; at English Wikipedia) 23:10, 20 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Redrose64. I believe Leutha created the page with this name so that we have the option to move this Wikimeet to different locations, i.e Southampton or Winchester, which are both close by. We can then decide which location will work best for us-- Marek.69 talk 00:15, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I wasn't querying the name, but the number. --Redrose64 (talk; at English Wikipedia) 14:44, 21 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I think mixing-up numbers is going to needless complicate things, since how will the next Portsmouth meetup be numbered? If English South Coast is found to be too misleading, then I would just call it Eastleigh 1, and if we have one in Winchester call it Winchester 1 and so on. Sounds fine to me Chris. :-) -- Marek.69 talk 04:39, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, so is calling it "Eastleigh 1" okay with everyone? CT Cooper · talk 15:27, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Chris, I've already emailed quite a few people and local organisations with a link to this page, so to avoid any confusion I would suggest leaving page as is for now, and wait until Eastleigh 2 to change the page name :-). Best Regards -- Marek.69 talk 20:08, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine with me. CT Cooper · talk 21:31, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
