Venue[edit]
I've provisionally set the venue to be the same as the last two meetups (The Waterhouse), but if there are other suitable venues people would prefer feel free to discuss them below (but bear in mind the venue need to be open on Sunday 9 June, be family friendly, have disabled access, serve food, alcohol consumption needs to be optional and it must be large enough to accommodate the number of attendees. - Not a big fan of Weatherspoons, after they junk mailed a load of political disinformation to me and many other people.
- How about The Sir Ralph? We've had meetings there before. It seems to have been saved from demolition. It's beer garden should be lovely in June. Yaris678 (talk) 16:05, 7 May 2019 (UTC)

- Only just noticed the change of venue. Big support from me, as I think Wetherspoon's pushing of its political agenda onto customers is despicable (and would be whatever Brexit side they supported). And the Sir Ralph is a nice place. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:19, 31 May 2019 (UTC)

So, how were people with the Ape and Apple in the end? And should we consider it for future meetups? It's not a W-you-know-what, food was acceptable, beer was nice, space was sufficient. Ritchie333 (talk) 08:56, 10 June 2019 (UTC)

- I agree it was a good choice, posisbly better than the Sir Ralph would have been (based on my 2 minutes in that pub), and at least as good as the Waterhouse was at the only other Manchester meetup I've attended. - My biggest gripe with the Sir Ralph is the very limited food menu available. I certainly would vote for the Ape and Apple for future meetups. --RexxS (talk) 17:27, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
