Some guidance needed on issue of small-wiki administrators' actions[edit]

I would appreciate some guidance regarding possible gross administrator's abuse on small Wikipedia project, with a small community and few admins. Say, that I would like to discuss those possible abuses, is there a way to bring such problems to light with a global community. TIA. s a n t a | t a l k | p i t 17:41, 1 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

For behavioral concerns with a single contributor on a project you should start by discussing at that project. Most projects have one or more community forums. If the concern is that the entire governance of a project has collapsed you could start a Requests for comment about the project. Global RFC's of this nature are generally the last resort and will almost always fail if other methods haven't been attempted first. — xaosflux Talk 18:19, 1 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, xao. The problem is gross appropriation of the project by four active admins who allow only half a dozen or dozens of editors at most to edit in Serbo-Croatian Wikipedia. I interacted with one of the admins and situation developed within a minut into something incomprehensible to average experienced editor of any Wikipedia. They own the project and there is no community there for anything that would precede the last resort. s a n t a | t a l k | p i t 03:01, 3 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Santasa99 so that seems like the "entire governance" situation, and a global RFC could be made - if lots of people agree with you that a project is broken changes can be forced. — xaosflux Talk 10:26, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
G'day xaos, at the moment, I am trying to interact with as many people there as possible. But, in the last 4 days, only two other editors without tools, ie. non-admin editors, has approached to my posts (I posted on two boards and there is one longer discussion on the article where all started), one of them just passed by with a simple question "(W)hat happened?" and after I explained to him, I am still waiting for any further inputs from him; the other was an editor on the article who refused to participate (in cases like this one, it's not hard to imagine why). Other three people are all admins there. So, I don't expect any more people to approach and express their stance, although my intention is to wait for some time, but also to see if any other avenue could be pursued before I decide to try with RfC. Any further advice, suggestion from you would be really, really appreciated, and I thank you for your replies so far. s a n t a | t a l k | p i t 14:50, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Complaint about deletion without warning[edit]

A topic of mine was deleted, apparently because it was "outside scope". Before deleting it I should have been warned and given a chance to copy my text and take it to where it would NOT be outside scope. Janosabel (talk) 22:16, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Where was the page deleted? Pages on small wikis are generally deleted without warning, but we can find the revision text and email it to you if you give us the page link. – Ajraddatz (talk) 22:40, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
probably wmf:Special:Undelete/User talk:Janosabel? seems to be out of scope, just like the essay on User talk:Janosabel. --Johannnes89 (talk) 05:36, 2 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
