Johannnes89 blocking to avoid answering questions[edit]

An issue with this candidate's behaviour was raised at Talk:IP Editing: Privacy Enhancement and Abuse Mitigation on 20 January and again today. Each time he alleged "Long-term abuse", removed the question and blocked. It's not for him to rule that an allegation of abuse against him is "abuse". Can the election committee look at this behaviour (on en:wp only the election committee can remove questions). His behaviour is a clear violation of en:WP:INVOLVED and of the Universal Code of Conduct (Article 2.1) which he is so fond of quoting. 2A00:23D0:6EA:DB01:3D32:231E:20A4:4F3F 13:33, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not a case of INVOLVED but rather en:WP:RBI towards en:WP:LTA/VXFC, starting with Special:Contributions/80.5.88.70 ([1]) and many IPs to follow (e.g. [2]). All of those IPs (or their IP-ranges) are noted at en:WP:LTA/VXFC#Known IP ranges. As this is an election page I will obstain from removing this post myself, but recommend that the election committee or other admins do so per RBI. What happens on en:wp stays on en:wp. As an aspiring Steward you know that perfectly well, so why link to it if not to make trouble? I just checked contributions of "VXFC" on both wikis, and it hasn't edited either of them. Your second link throws up another name - that editor has never edited at Meta but is GLOBALLY LOCKED. I don't see any bad behavior by Johannnes89 here. Also this is not related with the election so, please, stop complaining about legitimate actions on Election pages. Are you aware that a global lock is not permitted under policy? That policy does not allow events on one wiki to be taken into consideration when administrators on another wiki are imposing sanctions? As I said, you are off topic here, please read global lock if you've doubt and stop making unnecessary and futile controversies, or the next step will have to be deleting this page, since it's getting clogged up with off topic comments.
