One question is missing[edit]

Why is there no real alternative, but three nearly identical pseudo-options?

As all three options are more or less identical, no real difference, and especially no possibility to say something about the status quo in relation to these three identical "options", the answer to this question is missing. I can't think of a valid answer, that adheres as well to AGF, for this. Grüße vom Sänger ♫(Reden) 18:26, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Other questions[edit]

  • Brand dilution : has this been considered as a concern?
  • Negative SEO impact : how has this been evaluated?
Currently all projects have a unique and searchable name. "Wikipedia X" makes anything not on the encyclopedia itself very hard to find. [we would never be able to find something associated with a foundation chat as easily as we do today] It would still be important to have a unique project-string associated with each project, for this purpose.
Also: are we actively managing and improving our SEO? We have strong average visibility but in many cases are not as findable as we should be.

Merging this FAQ with the main FAQ[edit]

Earlier this week, and in relation to the discussion about neutrality of the FAQ, the Brand team agreed on merging this FAQ into the main one. I'm working on this right now. Qgil-WMF (talk) 10:48, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
