Template talk:Main Page/Sisterprojects/en

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Untitled[edit]

I notice that Wikivoyage has been added to the list. The idea was that Wikivoyage is in a beta phase and we are only seeking maintenance contributions, and not to publicise the project. I'm fairly sure that it was agreed links would not be added to any sister project until we officially launch with a new logo, most likely in December. The link should be removed from this template, as well as from the other language templates. JamesA (talk) 08:01, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A more active description of MediaWiki[edit]

I don't want to disturb the complex templating here, but I think MediaWiki should get a more compelling description. Instead of "MediaWiki software documentation", something like "using and developing the free MediaWiki software" -- S Page (WMF) (talk) 21:16, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiversity link[edit]

The Wikiversity link should be fixed. The URL is currently https://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Main, while the text is "page Wikiversity". Also, what to do with the source:

    |Wikiversity = Wikiversity |Wikiversity-text= Free learning materials and activities
        |WikiversityLink = Main page<!-- Please replace it into name of localized MainPage (if present)-->

Should the Main page be changed to Main_page? --George Ho (talk) 07:42, 1 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Seems that FuzzyBot fixed the link issue right away. --George Ho (talk) 18:48, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiversity[edit]

{{Edit protected}} For consistency, please replace Wikiversity's "Free learning materials and activities" with "Free learning resources". See Wikipedia:Template:Wikipedia's sister projects and associated discussion. Thanks! -- Dave Braunschweig (talk) 18:44, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Done, though you should have been able to edit it yourself - Special:Diff/20312574 --DannyS712 (talk) 07:58, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
