Introductory statement / Application summary (maximum 500 words): Tell us who you are, why you are applying, and your relevant experience. I have been involved with global wiki-work since 2010 and with Wikidata since it was founded in 2012. I have extensive experience with functionary-level tools, having served as a steward from 2014 to 2020 and again starting this year, an administrator and oversighter on Wikidata since 2013 and an administrator and CheckUser on Meta-Wiki since 2015. I have also served on the Ombuds Commission (2020 - 2022) and the Wikimedia Foundation Elections Committee (2016 - 2020). I am volunteering to offer my experience in dispute resolution and moderation in a global, cross-wiki and smaller project context - the current U4C has a lot of members with experience in large-wiki arbitration, but I think it would be helpful to have more people involved in small and medium sized projects on the committee as well. I also have quite a bit of experience designing and implementing new policies and processes in a wiki context (such as global renaming on Meta and various policies, including the admin confirmation process in 2013, on Wikidata), and would be glad to help design and implement some of the processes for the new U4C alongside the other members. I believe in collaborative work, and in keeping as much decision-making and moderation responsibilities as possible at the local project level. Thank you for your consideration, and please feel free to ask any questions you may have!
