I was Wikimedian in Residence at UNESCO for six years and before that at the Natural History Musuem and Science Museum in London. I also helped organise Wikimania 2014. I've worked with many UN organisations and other international organisations, more information and content can be found at WikiProject:United Nations:
UNESCO: I helped them share thousands of photographs, illustrations, graphics from publications, infographics and videos which are seen over 10 million page views per month on Wikimedia projects including 50 different language versions of Wikipedia. I've trained staff to add open license text from publications to over 200 Wikipedia articles, are read over 4 million times per month. I worked on the FindingGLAMs project to create the first worldwide map of cultural heritage institutions. I worked with Wikimedia Sweden and Wikimedia Italia produced a photography exhibition on cultural heritage at risk. I worked with their social media team to promote Wiki Loves Africa, Wiki Loves Monuments and Wiki Loves Earth. I helped organise Wiki4Women on International Womens Day 2018 and 2019 to bring attention to the gender gap on Wikipedia, over 200 people attended both events including the Director General of UNESCO and ambassadors of several countries
World Health Organization: I helped plan plan possible projects between WHO and Wikimedia, I helped them open license graphics and images.
UN Food and Agriculture Organization I have trained staff memebers to share graphics from publications which are seen around 850,000 times per month on Wikimedia projects. I have supported them (with Dr Richard Nevell at WMUK) to contribute text to over 60 Wikipedia articles which are viewed over 800,000 times per month.
UN Environment Programme: I helped them open license their flagship publications and share the content in Wikipedia articles to improve the quality of environmental information on Wikipedia.
UN Human Rights Office: I helped with the first steps of the amazing work done by Wikimedia Argentina to improve the quality and quantity of human rights content on Wikipedia.
United Nations Population Fund: I worked with the agency to improve content on Covid-19 in relation to maternal health.
UN Women: I helped them open license content and share it on Wikimedia, we have also collaborated on sharing knowledge relating to the impact of the pandemic on women.
United Nations Development Programme: I planned a Wikimedian in Residence project for the agency and helped recruit the candidate.
World Intellectual Property Organization: I uploaded a large amount of content from their archives and helped them design a Wikimedian in Residence programme.
International Energy Agency: I've worked with their staff to contribute to Wikipedia and share their content under an open license.
European Investment Bank: I worked with the European Investment Bank to develop a process to share knowledge from their publications, blog and staff. I wrote a staff manual and trained staff to share their knowledge, especially around renewable energy and pollution.

Monmouthpedia: I started MonmouthpediA, the first Wikipedia project to work with a whole town, every single notable place, person, artefact, plant, animal in Monmouth in as many languages as possible. “Bringing a whole town to life on Wikipedia is something new and is a testament to the forward-thinking people of Monmouth, all of the volunteers and the Wikimedia UK team. I’m looking forward to seeing other towns and cities doing the same thing.” - Jimmy Wales, co-founder of Wikipedia.
2030 Wikimedia Strategy: I was in the Partnerships Working Group for the 2030 Wikimedia Strategy, many of our recommendations were taken forward including Identify Topics for Impact.
Museums: I was Wikimedian in Residence at the Natural History Museum, London and Science Museum
Wikimania 2014: I helped organise Wikimania 2014 as a Wikimania organiser at Wikimedia UK, I ran the Community Village and some of the logistics.
Wiki Loves Earth: I have identified lists to allow WLE to run in every country and organised Wiki Loves Earth Biospheres with UNESCO in 2016 and Wiki Loves Earth Malta 2022.
Advice: I have advised many organisations on how they can benefit from working with Wikipedia including Amnesty International, Royal Society, Royal Veterinary College, Statisticians from UK government departments, Wellcome Collection, Breast Cancer Care, Department for Culture Media and Sport, UK Cabinet Office and Royal Society of Chemistry.

UN Presentations: I've spoken at many UN meetings including regularly to PIAM, the UN open access working group conference. Created the presentation for UNESCO ambasadors and delegation representatives for the FindingGLAMs project. I also organised the Wikimedia stall at UNESCO Mobile Learning Week for two years.
Wikimedia presentations: I've spoken and run workshops at a lot of different Wikimedia conferences over the years including Wikimania 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2021. Also WikiIndaba, Wiki Education Conference, Wikimedia Conference and others. I helped organise the 2017 European GLAMwiki Coordinators meeting to be hosted at UNESCO in Paris (main organiser was Liam Wyatt).
Training: I'm a Wikimedia UK accredited trainer for communities and organisations, I have run Wikipedia editing training with many UN agencies and others including: Zoological Society of London, Office for National Statistics, Imperial College, Medical Research Council, and British Computing Society.
Writing: I've written many blogs including; Wizards, Muggles and Wikidata: The Room of Requirement for structured knowledge, UNESCO and Wikimedia collaborate to promote built cultural heritage, 'Looking back on World Book and Copyright Day and How Wikipedia’s women were made more visible on International Women’s Day.
