Kedves Bencemac ! A Györkös Mányi Albert .tif fotó licenccel felmerült vmi probléma. Mi lenne az? Tisztelettel Holaci (talk) 12:19, 9 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Holaci: Szia!
Elküldtem neki a jó engedélyt, amit fog nektek továbbitani. Barátsággal: Holaci (talk) 12:19, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
Template Wizard script available for testing
[edit]Hello. I'm contacting you because you voted for the Infobox Wizard in the 2017 Community Wishlist Survey.
The Infobox Wizard has gotten an upgrade - it's now a Template Wizard which works for infoboxes and all other templates. The feature is being developed as an extension (which will allow for localization) but there is a prototype user script which works well.
The Wishlist Team would love it if you could take a few minutes to try the Template Wizard prototype script out and give us feedback on whether it lives up to your expectations. This feedback will help build the script into an extension. To get started, add the following to your Special:MyPage/common.js -
mw.loader.load( 'https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Samwilson/TemplateWizard.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript' );The Template Wizard will show up as a puzzle-piece icon in the 2010 WikiEditor. You can click on the icon to insert a template. Your thoughts are needed on whether it makes sense for the wizard to be available for all users by default or if there should be a preference for it. If it's a preference, what should the default be? Please leave your feedback here. Thank you! -- Keegan (WMF) (talk) 22:41, 28 March 2018 (UTC)

The Community Wishlist Survey
[edit]Hi,
You get this message because you’ve previously participated in the Community Wishlist Survey. I just wanted to let you know that this year’s survey is now open for proposals. You can suggest technical changes until 11 November: Community Wishlist Survey 2019.
You can vote from November 16 to November 30. To keep the number of messages at a reasonable level, I won’t send out a separate reminder to you about that. /Johan (WMF) 11:24, 30 October 2018 (UTC)

Following up on your request on IRC
[edit]Hello Bencemac
You've asked a question earlier today on French Wikipedia's IRC channel and I've offered to reply. Unfortunately, since I was busy with something, I haven't paid attention to your late replies. I'm sorry about that. It was about that article.
I can do the following: if the questions are on wiki, please ping me there. I'll reply there in French or English. If they are by email, please copy it to me using the contact form, with the contact of that person.
Sorry again, Trizek from FR 17:37, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- Dear Trizek, thanks for your help! We got this questions via OTRS and it looks like I could answer properly. I will let you know that if there are any further questions. Once again, thank you very much! :) Bencemac (talk) 17:47, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- Dear Trizek, if it is okay for you, can I give them your email? They would ask some questions if it is possible. If yes, please send my a mail and I will forward your address (for note, it is ticket:2019012310010597). Thank you very much! Bencemac (talk) 10:50, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
categories on it.wp
[edit]Hi, I'm not sure why you're asking to merge those 2 categories on IRC. They have different purposes. FWIW the Embassy works pretty well when you want to discuss something not in in Italian. HTH! Elitre (talk) 10:33, 11 March 2019 (UTC)
- @Elitre: I was not sure about that we should actually merge them. Thanks for your answer and make it clear, I reverted the incorrect merging which had been performed by someone else. Bencemac (talk) 12:36, 11 March 2019 (UTC)

Restore Q84051347
[edit]Hi Bencemac, an entity Q84051347 you deleted a while ago due to notability issues has an approved Wikipedia page now. Can you restore it please? I hope the notability is undisputed now. Thank you.

- @Mpecan: I restored the page, but it'll be deleted again if the AfD ends in that way. Bencemac (talk) 08:51, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

The 2021 Community Wishlist Survey is now open! This survey is the process where communities decide what the Community Tech team should work on over the next year. We encourage everyone to submit proposals until the deadline on 30 November, or comment on other proposals to help make them better. The communities will vote on the proposals between 8 December and 21 December.
The Community Tech team is focused on tools for experienced Wikimedia editors. You can write proposals in any language, and we will translate them for you. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your proposals!
18:25, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

We invite all registered users to vote on the 2021 Community Wishlist Survey. You can vote from now until 21 December for as many different wishes as you want.
In the Survey, wishes for new and improved tools for experienced editors are collected. After the voting, we will do our best to grant your wishes. We will start with the most popular ones.
We, the Community Tech, are one of the Wikimedia Foundation teams. We create and improve editing and wiki moderation tools. What we work on is decided based on results of the Community Wishlist Survey. Once a year, you can submit wishes. After two weeks, you can vote on the ones that you're most interested in. Next, we choose wishes from the survey to work on. Some of the wishes may be granted by volunteer developers or other teams.
We are waiting for your votes. Thank you!

Sub-referencing: User testing
[edit]
Hi I’m Johannes from Wikimedia Deutschland's Technical Wishes team. We are making great strides with the new sub-referencing feature and we’d love to invite you to take part in two activities to help us move this work further:
- Try it out and share your feedback
- Please try the updated wikitext feature on the beta wiki and let us know what you think, either on our talk page or by booking a call with our UX researcher.
- Get a sneak peak and help shape the Visual Editor user designs
- Help us test the new design prototypes by participating in user sessions – sign up here to receive an invite. We're especially hoping to speak with people from underrepresented and diverse groups. If that's you, please consider signing up! No prior or extensive editing experience is required. User sessions will start May 14th.
We plan to bring this feature to Wikimedia wikis later this year. We’ll reach out to wikis for piloting in time for deployments. Creators and maintainers of reference-related tools and templates will be contacted beforehand as well. Thank you very much for your support and encouragement so far in helping bring this feature to life!
PS: You are receiving this message, because you signed-up to our sub-referencing newsletter. If you don't want to receive further updates, just remove your name from the list.Johannes Richter (WMDE) (talk) 14:53, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
Sub-referencing: News and request for feedback
[edit]
Greetings from WMDE's Technical Wishes team. Today we've deployed sub-referencing to German Wikipedia, our first pilot wiki. A great milestone after so many years of work!
We'll continue to improve the feature based on community feedback and want to deploy to other pilot wikis in the upcoming months, once we've solved a couple of issues affecting many non-dewiki projects. You are invited to try sub-referencing on betawiki in the meantime.
We are currently thinking about how we could improve VisualEditor support for templates in sub-references if that's desired by the community. Read more about it on our talk page and share your feedback!
As always thank you very much for your support!
PS: You are receiving this message, because you signed-up to our sub-referencing newsletter. If you don't want to receive further updates, just remove your name from the list.Johannes Richter (WMDE) (talk) 16:46, 22 September 2025 (UTC)
