Checking global contributions

[edit]

I'm sure there's an easier way, using a script or a gadget or something, but if you only occasionally need it, it's just one extra click from the page showing an editor's local contributions. Down at the bottom of the local contributions page is a grey box with some useful links, including a link to check "global contribs". This box and those links are, I believe, configured per-project (enwp, meta, commons, etc.), but I expect most projects have a link to the global contribs tool there. Pinging ‎SandyGeorgia too, in case they also have some use for the information. Cheers, --Xover (talk) 06:45, 31 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Xover thanks for the info. -- Colin (talk) 09:40, 31 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thanks so much, Xover ... yes, I knew about that, and is how I came to the conclusion that they had probably used that page to train up that group of students, for making their first post. Which shows some kind of serious deficit in logical thinking ... SandyGeorgia (talk) 10:13, 31 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

The Community Wishlist Survey

[edit]

Hi,

You get this message because you’ve previously participated in the Community Wishlist Survey. I just wanted to let you know that this year’s survey is now open for proposals. You can suggest technical changes until 11 November: Community Wishlist Survey 2019.

You can vote from November 16 to November 30. To keep the number of messages at a reasonable level, I won’t send out a separate reminder to you about that. /Johan (WMF) 11:24, 30 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
