Hahhh, ja, Danke, mein Lieber. Da hast du recht. Eventbrite hatte ich auf den 1. Febr. 08:00 GMT eingestellt, insofern die Veröffentlichung hier auf Meta also einen halben Tag zu früh vorgenommen. Morgen müsste es funktionieren. In der Tabelle kannst Du Dich (ausnahmsweise) jetzt schon eintragen, nur lass' bitte in der Spalte "Eventbrite" zunächst noch das Häkchen weg. Hallo Lantus,
auf den Piroda-Seiten zeigt immer noch einiges auf 2020, zb der Participate-Link der englischen Seite auf https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Priroda-Dossier_writing_contest_2021. Kann es sein, dass sich deshalb noch keiner angemeldet hat? Für die vielen Berliner Hungertuchknabberer müssten die 500 Fränklis doch viel Geld sein? Zug-Nachtrag

1. Das Aufräumen gestaltet sich etwas schwierig, weil manche Benutzer immer noch neue Artikel einstellen in dem doppelten Abschnitt, und das sowohl für Ungeschriebenes als auch für Fertiges.
2. Die Karte in der zB Zürich, die man vollständig gescannt bekommen sollte, ist die w:de:Gygerkarte – ich sollte dir das auf die Disku setzen. Im Rahmen der Zug-GLAM wäre insbesondere das entsprechende Blatt von Interesse. Der auf Commons vorhandene Ausschnitt schneidet vor allem den nördlichen Seeteil ab; die Karte selbst ist geostet.
3. Nochmals mein Dank für die hervorragend organisierte Veranstaltung, stellvertretend für alle, die WMCH/bibliotheksseitig daran beteiligt waren. --Matthiasb (talk) 20:08, 10 July 2023 (UTC)

Grundsätzlich ist das möglich, allerdings ist das Hotelkontingent erschöpft. Wir freuen uns trotzdem sehr, wenn Du kommst. Wäre es dir möglich, mit entsprechendem Mehraufwand, den wir mit unserem Expense Report erstatten, auch täglich anzureisen? Get started with the Lua interface to simplify the preparation of modules for translation in MetaWiki

Greetings!

The Language and Product Localization team has developed a Lua interface to simplify the preparation of Lua modules for translation in the MetaWiki platform. This means that module developers can now use the new Lua interface to load translatable strings, and the translators can translate them in the same translation interface that is used for templates and wiki pages.

This improvement makes it easier for translators to find and edit module strings without dealing with raw Lua code. It helps prevent mistakes that could break the module during translation.

We invite you to watch our demo video and read more about translatable modules to understand how it works. Please give us your feedback on this talk page on how well the Lua interface addresses the challenges in your workflow and how useful it is in module localization tasks. You can also refer to Module:User Wikimedia project, which was recently converted to utilize these messages, for example usage.

Your feedback is important as it will help us evaluate and decide how to continue developing and improving this interface, extend it to other wikis, or change our approach.

Your recent page moves

Hello there,

I've just reverted your recent page moves. You can't just move around user pages. You moved several user pages to names (user accounts) that don't exist. What you probably want instead is the renaming of accounts, which moves the whole accounts. See Global rename. Moving user pages will just cause confusion all around and people won't get notified there if a message is sent to them etc. -Barras talk 18:38, 9 September 2025 (UTC)

So you might have an advice how to proceed. Our team has grown quite quickly and so far we have not attached any importance to the correct naming of user accounts. We want to change this now. Therefore, some accounts would have to be renamed or moved to the colleagues marked with a cross in this list marked with a cross, always according to the first-name last-name (WMCH) system. There are then further inconsistencies, but these affect all long-term Wikipedians who work with a user name that is much better known than their civil name -- so we would like to refrain from renaming them. Hi there. Sorry for the delay in response. I'm not a global renamer or steward anymore. You may want to contact one of them to get this done. However, the users could also request the account renaming themselves via Special:GlobalRenameRequest. Actually, the self-request by the users would be the best option for logging reasons. However, I could imagine there are also some smart global renamers or stewards around to get that all done without individual requests. -Barras talk 10:52, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
