What is the point

When a language is eligible, it will get a project when it fulfils the requirements. Arguing, supporting or otherwise is a waste of time. The only thing that is not is active involvement in the projects that you support. GerardM 04:18, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

During the elections, you were asked twice to not change the comments of others. [2][3] Once again, you've been adding {{support}} and {{oppose}} to peoples comments. [4][5] (More diffs available) and otherwise modifying the comments of others.

Please do not do this again. People are entitled to have their comments stay as they left them unless there is a pressing need for them to be otherwise, such as personal attacks. Even Anon editors may leave commentary here. There are plenty of other things to do on Meta. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Right now I need some advice from someone with experience. I am bureaucrat on sw.wikipedia.org and have a problem I never had to handle. One of our users on sw forgot her password but wants to continue using her identity. How do I get her back to her account?

A) Is it possible just to delete her user account and to tell her just to register anew on the same name? B) could she register under a different name temporarily and I move her temporary account to the original name?

However, please don't be too aggressive in nominating someone's user: namespace edits for deletion; it hurts their feelings. Talk to them about it first, wait for a response. Pages in other people's userspace, unless obviously hurting another user, should never be nominated directly for speedy deletion, and should go through the RFD process. Archiving

Please don't add those huge edit messages when you add archive boxes (also those notes "Please add new messages to the bottom."). Those are pretty obvious things that do not need to be on every single page. If we really wanted to, we could make it show up on every page automatically. Personally, I don't really like the archive box you use either. :P Would you mind using Template:Archives or Template:Archivebox? It's not really such a good idea to do things yearly for every page, because different pages get different amounts of traffic and a "one-size-fits-all" doesn't really work. Requesting for new language

Dear Mikhailov Kusserow,

We wanted to send a request and start a new language in Wiki but we are confused what to do. our language (Semnani) is not listed in wiki languages and it has ISO 639-3 code (it is SMY in that list) and has speakers too. could you please help us ( you or introduce someone that can help us) to start the new language. please give us a step by step instruction which how can we request . because we have just register a request and we don't know why it was a test and it is removed. Name for Gan language on List of Wikipedias

Hi RobiH, I come to notice METAWIKI that "Gànyŭ" isn't the writing for Gan language, nor its pronounciation in the language. So for List of Wikipedias, record as 贛語 (Gànyŭ) in the list is not appropriate.
