Bug 30809

Hi, regarding bug 30809. It was resolved as a duplicate of bug 29405. The latter has been listed as resolved in r97788. But that only fixes the problem for the article heading. 30809 was also for section headings which is not fixed in the revision. Please have a look at the same. Marathi wiki source project

Dear Santosh,

Marathi wikipedia community has finished the translation work for the wiki source project. The dump of the source material we are hosting on wikipedia from long time as the source project is not available. In view of the our on going discussions with Govt. of Mahrashtra for making the official encyclopedia available for wikipedia the source project will be a great advantage. Can you please help to get the portal allotment for the same. Also let me know if any thing needs to be done from the community side.

I was able to make the changes and commit locally. After typing the commit message when I tried to git pull gerrit master, I keep getting the error message:
fatal: 'gerrit' does not appear to be a git repository
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly

Universal Language Selector on Wikivoyage

Hi Santhosh, I am a volunteer editor at Wikivoyage, a wiki travel guide that moved to Wikimedia Foundation in November 2012. I'd like to install Universal Language Selector on Wikivoyage (maybe in a test wiki if available) and see if I can configure it to serve as a way for users to switch from one language version of Wikivoyage to another. We have 11 language versions now and expect more before long. Currently we use a "portal" at http://www.wikivoyage.org to let users choose which language version to visit. I feel it would be better and simpler for users, to default to the English language Wikivoyage and offer the other language versions via Universal Language Selector. This would let us eliminate the contentless "portal" page experience from a user's visit to our site, by offering choice of language version right on every Wikivoyage content page via Universal Language Selector. I also feel this approach would work for Wikipedia so that the contentless Wikipedia "portal" at www.wikipedia.org could be eliminated. But Wikivoyage is a smaller wiki and the one I am most active on. So I would like to focus on doing this on Wikivoyage. Is there a test wiki where I could work on prototype configurations of Universal Language Selector for Wikivoyage's needs? Can you help? How can I get started? • As a Test Admin of Wp/khw Khowar Wikipedia Project I on behalf of the Khowar language communities of Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and Xinjiang(China) humbly request the all respectable members of the language comittee for early approval, creation of Khowar Wkipedia i.e. khw.wikipedia.org. The Khowar language is spoken in Pakistan, India, Afghanistan and Xingjiang(China). I have created a test page for Khowar language in incubator i.e. Wikipedia Khowar (Khowar Language Wikipedia), On behalf of the abovementioned Khowar speaking four countries for early approval and creation and normalization of Khowar Wikipedia edition. Khowar is one of spoken 14 languages in Chitral(Pakistan). It will be useful to Khowar internet users to report news from worldwide. I strongly feel it deserves its own Wikipedia. Tunisian Arabic

As shown in the new edition of Ethnologue, Tunisian Arabizi (One of the Latin Scripts used for Tunisian) has been recognized as a common script for Tunisian Arabic. As it is the most used script in Internet, we will use it in Wp/aeb. I have slightly modified this method so that it can be converted to Arabic Script. I have created a script converter for Tunisian Arabizi and I will implement it with explanations very soon. However, I need to test it before. So, you are invited to change the name of Tunisian Arabic in Latin Script into Tounsi and change the editing software of Tunisian Arabic Wikipedia into Left to Right format. Hi, I would like to know if you can activate the Guianese Wikipedia project, and please do not discuss it with another administrator, because I think I have sent too many messages; they do not want to answer any more, please, I did all that I was asked to do for this project, Check by yourself, it has been a year since I am told that they will activate it and create officially the Guianese Wikipedia, but they have not done anything so far, so please activate this project because it's really important for me, but it has also developed in me a huge stress, I think about it all the time and it drives me crazy to tell me that they will never approve of it, even though I did everything as they asked, please Create the Guianan Wikipedia! Hindi Wikisource

Hi,

Any chance for creation of this project soon? We observe in sourceswiki enormous activity of Hindi contributors, especially in last year.

And I am personally, a bit worrying that sourceswiki might become de facto Hindi Wikisource if not separated.
