I would advise you to read the checkuser policy at first, because requesting the Checkuser access directly implies you agree to respect these rules. Then, you can open a local request on your local wiki (like requests for sysop status), just try to make it accessible to the rest of your community. Translate some names for hundreds software projects including MediaWiki

Hello, I'm writing you because you subscribed to a Language support team. As you know, Wikimedia projects exist in almost 300 languages; supporting them all is a big effort so we partner with other organisations. One small but visible thing we miss is that many interwiki links in sidebar (among others) don't offer a translation of the language name when hovered. We're now able to translate 100 more language names in your language.

If you're interested, I can create you an account to submit translations on the CLDR web tool (within June 14): please send an email to ask one and I'll follow up with instructions. کھوار ویکیپیڈیا: ایک زبان، ایک خواب اور ایک جدوجہد

انٹرنیٹ کی دنیا میں ویکیپیڈیا ایک ایسا پلیٹ فارم ہے جس نے زبانوں کو نئی زندگی عطا کی ہے۔ یہ صرف ایک انسائیکلوپیڈیا نہیں بلکہ ان زبانوں کی آن لائن موجودگی کا استعارہ ہے جو کئی صدیوں سے مقامی حلقوں تک محدود تھیں۔ انہی زبانوں میں سے ایک کھوار بھی ہے جس کے بولنے والے زیادہ تر پاکستان کے شمالی علاقوں، خصوصاً چترال، غذر، سوات اور گلگت بلتستان میں بستے ہیں۔

آغاز کی کہانی

رحمت عزیز چترالی اور ان کے ہم خیال دوستوں نے 2010ء میں کھوار ویکیپیڈیا کو انکیوبیٹر پر شروع کیا۔ مقصد یہ تھا کہ کھوار زبان کو باقی پاکستانی زبانوں کی طرح ڈیجیٹل دنیا میں ایک مقام دلایا جائے۔ اس کے لیے نہ صرف مضامین لکھے گئے بلکہ کھوار زبان کے مخصوص حروف کو کمپیوٹر پر لانے کے لیے ایک ملٹی لینگویج ٹیکسٹ ایڈیٹر بھی ایجاد کیا گیا جس نے کھوار لکھنے کے عمل کو آسان بنایا۔

معاونین اور کمیونٹی کی وابستگی

اب تک درجنوں کھوار رضاکار اس منصوبے سے وابستہ ہوچکے ہیں۔ کچھ تکنیکی مسائل اور انکیوبیٹر کی پیچیدگیوں کے باوجود یہ ٹیم روزانہ کی بنیاد پر مضامین، سانچے اور زمرے تخلیق کر رہی ہے۔ صارفین کی رائے ہے کہ جیسے ہی یہ منصوبہ "نارمل حالت" میں آئے گا، کھوار بولنے والے دنیا بھر سے بڑی تعداد میں شامل ہوں گے۔

جغرافیائی وسعت

کھوار بولنے والوں کی تعداد دس لاکھ سے زیادہ بتائی جاتی ہے۔ یہ زبان نہ صرف چترال بلکہ سوات، گلگت بلتستان، افغانستان اور سنکیانگ (چین) تک پھیلی ہوئی ہے۔ مزید یہ کہ خلیجی ممالک اور یورپ و امریکا میں موجود کھوار کمیونٹیز بھی اس منصوبے کو اپنی مادری زبان کے تحفظ کے طور پر دیکھ رہی ہیں۔

ادارتی اور تعلیمی کوششیں

کھوار اکیڈمی اور انجمن ترقی کھوار جیسی تنظیمیں کھوار زبان کی ترقی کے لیے سرگرم ہیں۔ حالیہ برسوں میں خیبر پختونخوا حکومت نے کھوار قاعدہ کو نصاب میں شامل کیا ہے اور پہلی سے بارہویں جماعت تک کے لیے کتابیں تیار کی جارہی ہیں۔ اعلیٰ تعلیم کی سطح پر بھی پشاور یونیورسٹی، جامعہ پنجاب اور دیگر اداروں میں کھوار پر تحقیقی مقالے لکھے جا رہے ہیں۔

لغات اور مواد

کھوار زبان کے حوالے سے کئی لغات تیار ہوچکی ہیں۔ اسماعیل سلون کی Romanized Khowar Dictionary اور ناجی خان ناجی کی کھوار-اردو لغت نمایاں مثالیں ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ کھوار اکیڈمی اور دیگر ادارے اب تک دو سو سے زائد کتابیں شائع کر چکے ہیں جن میں گرامر، ادب اور نصاب شامل ہیں۔

میڈیا اور انٹرنیٹ میں موجودگی

کھوار زبان کا مواد ریڈیو پاکستان پشاور اور چترال سے نشر ہوتا ہے۔ کئی اخبارات اور جرائد جیسے "چترال وژن"، "ماہنامہ شندور" اور "نوائے چترال" بھی اس زبان کو جگہ دیتے ہیں۔ انٹرنیٹ پر محرکہ ڈاٹ کام اور کھوار چترال ڈاٹ کام جیسی ویب سائٹس کھوار مواد کو محفوظ کرنے میں سرگرم ہیں۔

ماورائے ویکی کوششیں

سوشل میڈیا، بلاگز اور غیر رسمی ملاقاتوں کے ذریعے بھی کھوار ویکیپیڈیا کو فروغ دیا جارہا ہے۔ ان کوششوں کے نتیجے میں نوجوان نسل بڑی تیزی سے اس منصوبے کی طرف راغب ہو رہی ہے۔

مستقبل کے امکانات

کھوار کمیونٹی صرف ویکیپیڈیا تک محدود نہیں رہنا چاہتی۔ ان کا عزم ہے کہ جلد ہی ویکی ماخذ، ویکی اقتباسات اور ویکی کتب جیسے منصوبے بھی کھوار میں شروع کیے جائیں گے تاکہ اس زبان کا ذخیرہ مزید منظم ہو سکے۔

نتیجہ

کھوار ویکیپیڈیا صرف ایک آن لائن منصوبہ نہیں، یہ ایک تحریک ہے جو ایک مادری زبان کو آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے زندہ رکھنے کی کوشش کر رہی ہے۔ جیسے میتھلی ویکیپیڈیا نے اپنے بولنے والوں کے لیے ایک ڈیجیٹل دنیا آباد کی، ویسے ہی کھوار ویکیپیڈیا بھی لاکھوں بولنے والوں کے لیے علم اور زبان کا پل ثابت ہوگا۔
