Comments in RFC
I have removed and oversighted your comments from an RFC. Making such commentary is akin to an accusation, and one that I doubt that you have exact evidence to support. If you did have evidence, then it would be referred to police. If you have specific concerns in that manner, then you should email stewardswikimedia.org — billinghurst sDrewth 08:09, 12 September 2014 (UTC)
Understanding stewards' role
As such, Snowolf took action to stop actions occurring at your wiki following a request to do so. Then set about telling your community what they did, with the expectation that your community would discuss and resolve the matter. That is the end of our involvement. Your further commentary that you didn't like the outcome, and that you expected a different set of actions is an opinion to which you are entitled, but it doesn't invoke further action. Again, take it all back to your community and have that discussion, when you have a consensus of actions, they will take place, and if there is requests for stewards to undertake components, then they will be forthcoming, and we can act upon them.
Pre-emptively taking actions within a community without a consensus or a mandate or a clear sense that it is within policy will always cause issues. At such points that you are in a grey zone, then discuss. Yes, it takes longer, and you may or may not get your way in the end. Such is life, such is working in a community. — billinghurst sDrewth 01:39, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
