Hello, Zquid. Welcome to the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki! This website is for coordinating and discussing all Wikimedia projects. You may find it useful to read our policy page. If you are interested in doing translations, visit Meta:Babylon. You can also leave a note on Meta:Babel or Wikimedia Forum if you need help with something (please read the instructions at the top of the page before posting there). Also worthwhile acquainting yourself with the functions of global user pages. Happy editing!

Pacific Northwest tree octopus[edit]

Good afternoon. I'm here to inform that your candidate for the Translation of the week might be eliminated one week later, provided there're no new votes. You told me you'd find refs after Easter, but it's been a month since then, right? I'm not pushing you, just reminding you of the deadline. If there's still no response, the article would be subject to be eliminated. --Super Wang hates PC You hate, too? 09:01, 24 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Super Wang: Tank you for reminding me. As I wrote on the voting page, I didn't succeed to find all the ref I needed. I now have added one, and perhaps I can come back with that non-existing animal some other year. (If enough refs then.) // Zquid (talk) 11:15, 26 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I thank you and ask you not to lose heart. That article has been a critical hit in my heart. :-) --Super Wang hates PC You hate, too? 23:21, 26 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Garúa[edit]

Hello. I'm interested in this article (and translating it), but it could be a better one if we add more references to section "Fog collection". Do you have any idea? --Super Wang hates PC You hate, too? 11:01, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Super Wang: 1 replaced and 1 new ref... Have a look and see what you think. :-) // Zquid (talk) 15:26, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Much better now. Thank you :-) --Super Wang hates PC You hate, too? 01:07, 30 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Super Wang: 👍 :-) // Zquid (talk) 15:23, 30 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

WikiGap Challenge 2022[edit]

Hi! As one of the participants of the WikiGap Challenge 2021, I wanted to inform you that we have launched the 2022 edition of the Challenge – and you are of course more than welcome to join! The landing page of the challenge is on this page. This year, due to the pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we are extending the Challenge to 8 May. I hope this might give some extra time for everyone to take part.

As last year, the UN Human Rights Office has nominated some 25 women human rights defenders, this year specifically focusing on women active within the fields of environment and climate. Writing articles about these women yield bonus points.

Feel free to join, and reach out if you have any questions! Josefine Hellroth Larsson (WMSE) (talk) 14:32, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
