Abstract (in about 300 words)

I started contributing on wikipedia since Aug 2016, through out my wiki journey i notice that dominant majority of volunteer Wikipedia editors are male - at last count, the Wikimedia Foundation found that only 9% of Wikipedians are women. This gender gap doesn't just affect the community of editors and volunteers, it also impacts the kinds of content that this community makes available in over 240 languages. If you are planning to include a session of gender gap in your conference/event. I hope this presentation inspires you to take the plunge. It will attract the women and inspire to contribute and add more women's to fill gender gap. i will explain what project had done for filling gender gap and what project is running for example, edit-on-thons was done on International Women Day and now the wikiwomen health project is running for the women's, by the women's and from the women's, project Wikiwomen in Red and many more.
