Strengthening a distributed and global movement - the Interim Global Council
Primarily in English with simultaneous interpretation in local languages
Could be a workshop or panel discussion depending on the trajectory of the Interim Global Council at that time.
- Time needed:
- Narrate your plan in details:
From the Global Conversations in December and others that took place in small and large communities around the world since, it is clear that the Global Council, Movement Charter, and Interim Global Council are top priorities. They are the important first steps to enabling more global decision-making and distributed leadership. It is important that communities in and from South Asia are aware of the conversation and possibilities, updated, and enabled to participate.
- Any support you need:
Coordination around participant, outreach, and language support as per need.
- How will this session be beneficial for the communities in India?:
We could not have a distributed and thriving movement without close participation from communities in South Asia. We need input and participation from the diverse communities in the region to create a truly global Interim Global Council. Community members who participate in this session will hopefully walk away learning more closely about the Interim Global Council and global governance efforts, and be able to join ongoing or subsequent steps if they haven't done so already.
