WMAT strategy meeting[edit]

Basics
  • in a nutshell: fourth strategy meeting to review and update our budget, report to the board on the movement strategy process and discuss suggestions to refine the set-up of our expert groups. Preparation of a new voting process and the 2020 elections for WMAT.
  • what we contributed to this activity: coordination, catering and travel support for volunteers. Staff time.

Wikimedian in Residence portal[edit]

  • in a nutshell: We developed a portal in the German-language Wikipedia for Wikimedians and institutions interested in the topic of Wikimedians in Residence, including harmonization with WMCH and WMDE and several feedback rounds with the German-language community (online and offline).

Project Social Topics on Wikipedia[edit]

  • in a nutshell: Together with Caritas Österreich / Caritas Wien, one of the biggest volunteer organisations in the German-speaking world, we launched a project in November 2019: a group of Wikipedia newbies contributes and improves content about social topics on Wikipedia. The first round ended in March 2019, here are the results from 2019-04-01 to 2019-12-31.
