LexiSesión es un evento mensual para incentivar los Wikcionarios mediante contribuciones temáticas. Es impulsado por el Tremendo Grupo de Wikcionario y quiere incluir el mas proyectos posible. El tema no es sólo una palabra pero un vocabulario alrededor de una palabra. Dependiendo del proyecto, el resultado puede ser visible en: una página, un tesauro, un anexo, una categoría, o una mezcla de todo este.

La idea detrás de este proyecto emergió durante Wikimania 2016 y LexiSesión empezó en agosto 2016, con no tanta planificación. Al principio, planeamos una LexiSesión para agosto 2016 y otra para septiembre 2016. Luego, se mantiene en una base mensual con más o menos participación.

Agosto de 2016 - gato

El tema de la primera LexiSesión es el gato (o michi). Sí, un bicho bien amable, pero ¿cómo describirlo bien? Qué es el vocabulario que uno necesita para describir esta realidad? Colores, abrigos, forma de los ojos,… no queremos nombres de especie pero vocabulario que puede ser conectado con. Los límites emergerán durante el proceso de recolección.

Resultados

Buen resultado para el Wikcionario francés. Se han estudiado tres idiomas y el diccionario de sinónimos sobre gato en francés reunió a 9 colaboradores para 77 ediciones. Es bastante decente y puede ayudar a crear el vocabulario perdido para hablar de gatos.

El tema de la segunda LexiSesión sera la cartografía. Este mes, intentamos de buscar un vocabulario que puede ser de alguna ayuda para cartografía, pensando en OpenStreetMap. Esta vez, sera muy interesante de pensar un mapa semántico con todo este concepto y intentar de ayudar a los lectores para que eligen el significado exacto.

Sixth LexiSession is about car. They are everywhere around us but only few know there names and caracteristics. Let's push the turbo to start 2017! This time, we may deal with a lot of nouns and new thesaurus! English Wiktionary already have a Wikisaurus on vehicle and a Wikisaurus on automobile but without any connexion between them, and very few words to pimp your car. Let's be creative with spoiler, hubcap and vinyl roof!

March 2017 - French words in other languages

Eighth LexiSession is about French words in other languages. This month, there is the Semaine de la Francophonie [French language week] so let's track borrowings of French in other languages and create new entries in Wiktionary with French word in other languages contexts and observe the semantic changes. Also, Francophonie is about French language outside of France frontiers, so you are also welcome to amplify the vocabulary of French with word from Africa or overseas countries.
