Global sysop requests
This page is monitored by global sysops and stewards for simple requests for deletion or blocking on wikis with no active administrators. It is an alternative option available to using IRC to make a quick request. Please do not use this page for controversial requests; this is intended to be a venue for quick cleanup of GS-wikis. Formal or controversial requests can be filed at Steward requests/Miscellaneous.
A bot automatically updates a list of all speedy deletion requests - global sysops can review it at Global sysops/Speedy delete requests.
Global sysops: Please clear page contents after processing requests.
Requests
- Please delete this page at el/Wikivoyage; part of the (repeatedly recreated) spam pages with lists of recently deceased persons. Probably, the spammer account "Nikosrodos" should be blocked, too. ǁǁǁ ǁ Chalk19 (talk) 06:58, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
- PS. Also this duplicate page created by user "Tasosrodos", apparently a sock of the aforementined account "Nikosrodos"; please, consider blocking their IP range 2A02:587:CC36:17D9::/39 (2A02:587:CC36:17D9:0:0:0:0/39) for sometime, as well. ǁǁǁ ǁ Chalk19 (talk) 18:31, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
- PS2. New sock/spammer account: "Oka with"; it created their user page as a duplicate of the usual death-list-pages. ǁǁǁ ǁ Chalk19 (talk) 20:19, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
- PS3. See the results of the CU on the abovementioned accounts.̃ǁǁǁ ǁ Chalk19 (talk) 14:34, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
- Please delete mywiktionary:NKúuu: Test page. Ts12rAc (talk) 08:00, 22 July 2021 (UTC)
- User:Jfblanc, sysop at the Occitan wikipedia, inserts completely fictional coats of arms of Czech municipal parts into articles about them in the Occitan Wikipedia (oc:Blišice, oc:Jestřabice, oc:Lískovec), describing these images as "proposals" (without information who, when and to whom the coats of arms were "proposed" and with what result - municipal parts haven't right to have their own coats of arms officially). From the discussion of these coats of arms in the Commons, it seems, this user does not accept the basic principles of Wikipedia and believes that Wikipedia is a space to promote the wikipedians' own fantasies or wishes. It does not seem appropriate to me for such a person to be the sysop of a small language version of Wikipedia. What happens if any language version of Wikipedia does not follow the general principles of Wikipedia? --ŠJů (talk) 17:01, 22 July 2021 (UTC)
- @ŠJů this appears to be a content dispute and cannot be resolved by global sysops DannyS712 (talk) 03:52, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
