Global sysop requests
This page is monitored by global sysops and stewards for simple requests for deletion or blocking on wikis that allow global sysops. It is an alternative option available to using IRC to make a quick request. Please do not use this page for controversial requests; this is intended to be a venue for quick cleanup of GS-wikis. Formal or controversial requests can be filed at Steward requests/Miscellaneous.
A bot automatically updates a list of all speedy deletion requests - global sysops can review it at Global sysops/Speedy delete requests.
Global sysops: Please clear page contents after processing requests.
Requests

- English Wikinews have a task where thousands of articles need to be modified. They are protected and there are no active bot with admin rights. Community is not very active so it can take a long time to get a bot approved with admin status. Can anyone suggest good ideas? - @MGA73: Given the size of enwikinews and the fact that their global rights policy only permits us as global sysops to handle spam and vandalism, this is probably one of the few things that we should defer to the local community entirely. --SHB2000 (t • c) 00:00, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
