Hello نوفاك اتشمان!, and welcome to the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki! This website is for coordinating and discussing all Wikimedia projects. You may find it useful to read our policy page. Налог
[edit]Тај налог може глобално да се блокира. Само ми реци који је. Што се тиче "кућног пројекта", он реално није ни битан. Колико знам, не постоји начин да се то "напише" или некако подеси, јер се он аутоматски одређује. --FiliP ██ 17:58, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
- ОК, налог је закључан глобално. --FiliP ██ 22:36, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
voting at steward elections
[edit]Hei FriedrickMILBarbarossa, for the moment, you may not vote at the elections. So please just create a global account, after that you may vote immediately. It just can't be sure without SUL account and without a user page here, that the accounts belong to the same person, so this rule is not against you, but prevent you that no sockpuppet can vote in your name. Kind regards, --Geitost diskusjon 23:09, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
I think that has only been a tool mistake, because I'm now seeing that you already have a global account since 2009. I left a note about this here, so excuse the mistake which I don't understand by now. The tool mistake should be fixed in any way if possible. Kind regards, --Geitost diskusjon 23:58, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
Superprotect status
[edit]Dear FriedrickMILBarbarossa, since you are an administrator on a wiki from which no user participated in this discussion, I'd like to make sure you are aware of some recent events which may alter what the Wikimedia Foundation lets you do on your wiki: Superprotect.
- Request for comment: Requests for comment/Superprotect rights
- An open letter about its implementation: Letter to Wikimedia Foundation: Superprotect and Media Viewer

GRP reporting
[edit]Hey there, you quit IRC before I could say anything more. Thanks for your work on identifying these edits and reporting them. These definitely fall under the radar at times and I appreciate you noticing them here even though you have many other wikis to watch over. ~riley (talk) 02:46, 13 February 2020 (UTC)
Categories and U4C cases
[edit]Hello, we briefly talked about it and it does not seem fair to categorize a case (which involves only a small number of users) in the category of the whole project. Maybe we can find better categories in future but for the moment let's categorize only for phase of the request. Thank you! Civvì (talk) 16:16, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, OK. However, I just followed the logic and various examples of Category:Requests for comments by project (and by language as well), a similar and preceding global procedure. نوفاك اتشمان (talk) 16:33, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, yes I see that. Maybe in future when there will be (hopefully not too many) more cases it will make sense to create "U4C cases related to project X". "Related to" sounds a little better than linking directly to the project :-) --Civvì (talk) 16:47, 23 March 2025 (UTC)

Revision deletion
[edit]Hi, I have encountered several times on srwiki that the entire user contribution is revdelled, even though it is not grossly offensive, etc. For example [1] Why are you doing it? It makes reviewing contributions more difficult e.g. in terms of locking. AramilFeraxa (talk) 09:46, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
Comment @AramilFeraxa: Hello, steward AramilFeraxa, yes, I'm implementing these measures because of ongoing harassment, and in accordance with Wikipedia's deny-recognition practice ("WP:DENY"), as the aforementioned WMF-banned user and his imitator—with their abusive and attack-oriented usernames—aim to shame and frighten legitimate editors by creating the false impression that those innocent users have committed vandalism or poor edits. To this end, they frequently perform mass vandal-reverts, especially on the Serbian Wikipedia and the Serbo-Croatian Wikipedia. Additionally, sr.wiki employs a default rev-del rationale of "Vandalism" ("Вандализам") for disruptive contributions, while you could bypass such reviewing issues using an inline-diffs gadget. --نوفاك اتشمان (talk) 13:03, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, but tell me what's wrong e.g. with this or that edit that it was necessary to revdel both the edit summary and revision text? AramilFeraxa (talk) 13:32, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
Comment @AramilFeraxa: Uhm, have you noticed and translated that automatically generated text containing the username? Namely, spamming it en masse is precisely the situation described above. ^ Other than that, those entire edits should most likely have been revision-deleted instead due to the abusive/attack username (check: en:Andrija Artuković). --نوفاك اتشمان (talk) 14:33, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
- Then you can only revdel the username. But okay, I won't interfere with srwiki rules. AramilFeraxa (talk) 15:07, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
Comment @AramilFeraxa: Sure, I can even unhide such edits, but how to perform it en masse or do you want to help me with that? :D --نوفاك اتشمان (talk) 15:51, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry, I have no idea how to do it en masse. AramilFeraxa (talk) 16:19, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
Comment @AramilFeraxa: And "my" gadget only works for mass hiding/revision-deleting, unfortunately... :-( --نوفاك اتشمان (talk) 16:47, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
Done @AramilFeraxa: OK, I unhid somemany edits now! :-) --نوفاك اتشمان (talk) 11:50, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
