$wgSpamRegex. Only system administrators can make changes to $wgSpamRegex, and its use is to be avoided whenever possible. For more information on what the spam blacklist is for, and the processes used here, please see Spam blacklist/About.
- Proposed additions
- Please provide evidence of spamming on several wikis. Spam that only affects a single project should go to that project's local blacklist. Exceptions include malicious domains and URL redirector/shortener services. Please follow this format. Please check back after submitting your report, there could be questions regarding your request.
- Proposed removals
- Please check our list of requests which repeatedly get declined. Typically, we do not remove domains from the spam blacklist in response to site-owners' requests. Instead, we de-blacklist sites when trusted, high-volume editors request the use of blacklisted links because of their value in support of our projects. Please consider whether requesting whitelisting on a specific wiki for a specific use is more appropriate - that is very often the case.
Please sign your posts with ~~~~ after your comment. This leaves a signature and timestamp so conversations are easier to follow.
Completed requests are marked as {{added}}/{{removed}} or {{declined}}, and are generally archived (search) quickly. Additions and removals are logged.

I am removing all the links to them I see, except for one used as a source for a file. The Serbian language link has been added at lower positions of some of the pages later, e.g.: cont.
At User:COIBot/XWiki/public-domain-image.com it’s been suggested that appropriate links are not removed, but that made it possible to move the links to the top of the lists they were in.

- However, all the independent links may certainly be listed. free.fr is quite often a problem. Another solution may be local whitelisting on fr, as I assume that most of the sites there will be mainly of interest to the fr-wikipedia. - Please blacklist them all. We saw enough of this persons will to ignore warnings and keep spamming two years ago with the url lang.arabe.free.fr and it seems nothing have changed since.
- The altenative would be to global block IP 82.226.48.111, but I doubt that would prevent further spamming, as user accounts also have been used. --Jorunn 18:43, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

The Website of the bavarian was listed after proposal here - I do not really understand the reason for it. It is the website of the Palaeo Bavarian Geological Survey and publisher of different palaeontological and geological magazines. - Well, there were additions to many wikis by practically only IPs in a couple of ranges, amongst which the English and German wikipedia (sometimes in the form of "reference 'spamming'", sometimes as 'external link "spamming"'; see the User:COIBot/LinkReports/palaeo-bavarian-geological-survey.de. These additions were quite some time ago, and deemed 'spam' at that time. I would be inclined to remove this now (your post suggests this is a suitable source of information), we could think of other measures if spamming would re-occur (though after this long a time).
