Discussion[edit]
The community was consulted here ː https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:WikiFranca#concours_%23Wikicheznous_sur_les_projets_wikimedia
Millions of people are at home in front of the computers, and our projects receive higher number of visits these days. I like the idea that in the lockdown period Wikipedia communicates a combined message: stay at home, you can read Wikipedia (for studying for example) and you can also edit Wikipedia. Together with an organized event, it is even better. I don't see any problem using the CentralNotice for that purpose, but the one month period is a little bit long, therefore it probably has to share the CN with other campaigns and impression diet is recommended as well. I believe that you would like to make a campaign and banner separately for desktop and for mobile devices. Do you have a banner design idea or proposal already? I personally cannot undertake creating the banners and the campaigns in the next days, so I hope somebody else can help out here. Samat (talk) 20:09, 8 April 2020 (UTC)

Done I created the campaign with this banner. Since you did not suggest an image, I choose the WMFR logo for this.
It is set to show once a week for 6 impressions, since there will also be French banners shown to anons in the Twitch campaign. Ciell (talk) 15:25, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
Logo[edit]
Hi Ciell, thank you very much for creating the banner. I forgot to include the picture indeed. Using wikimedia france's logo was a great idea, but it's an older version. Would you mind changing it to this version please ? https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Wikimedia_France_logo_-_horizontal.svg this helped us realise that our logo on commons is outdated so thanks again ǃ
Thank you for managing the diet as well, I know banners are a much demanded means of communication. Adelaide Calais WMFr (talk) 13:16, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- Done Updated the banner. Ciell (talk) 15:09, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
Banner defective on wikisource[edit]
Hi Ciell and Samat, I'm sorry to bother you but the banner isn't showing properly on wikisource. It's fine on all other projects though. Pyb says that the "display" command seems to be the problem ː https://discordapp.com/channels/537685109718122506/694924209331241050/702096406550151168
Have you encountered this problem before ? Best Adelaide Calais WMFr (talk) 10:12, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
- Oef, that looks nasty! Let me see if some one can help...
- @Quiddity (WMF): Have you seen this before? Ciell (talk) 10:49, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
- @Ciell: I have not seen that before. I've pinged Seddon to take a look. (I can't currently even get the banner to preview?) Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 20:12, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
