Changes: sound is an essential key in understanding how words are pronounced, and used in every language based on oral language documentation. There are several words in Wikimedia sister projects that lack audio pronunciation in Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo, while some require linking in other Wikimedia sister projects. I bring a sample of four articles pages titled Aisha Buhari from English, Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo Wikipedia, where audio exist only in English but do not exist in other language Wikis and is extremely needed, their appearance in other language is also appearance as a Wikidata entry see the articles below;

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aisha_Buhari https://ha.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aisha_Buhari https://yo.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aisha_Buhari https://ig.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aisha_Buhari

These are some of the articles and categories we would work on where audio exist but didn't exist in another language Wiki see the articles and categories below

  1. Articles below;

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abbas_Aminu_Iya https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abd_al-Qadir_dan_Tafa https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dadasare_Abdullahi https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atiku_Abubakar https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iya_Abubakar https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nasiru_Ado_Bayero https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aishatu_Dahiru_Ahmed https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aisha_Alhassan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_Babba_bin_Bello https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aliyu_Wakili_Boya https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadiza_Aliyu https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jibril_Aminu https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nana_Asma%CA%BCu

The main changes for this project are listed below 1-Link audio files of a language in another language wiki where the language word is used as synonymous to the other language, that's a Wikidata entry for the Wikimedia sister project. 2-Upload audio for pages that do not have audio where audio is important and needed. 3-Make relationship of audio pronunciation in three language Wikis, to improve, advance, and make development audio usage.

This project seeks to provide impact by providing audio pronunciation to be uploaded into Wikimedia Commons and making use of them in three Wikimedia sister projects, the process of achieving this includes training the existing participants with whom we worked together in the previous events to improve their user skills and experience in coaching them on how to make use of the single audio pronunciation in three different Wikimedia sister projects. For instance, the audio word for "Allura" in the Hausa language which means (Needle) in English will be repeatedly used in other Wikitionaries and Wikipedia as entries (Wikidata entries) where words similar to Allura(Needle) are required. A single audio will be used in different languages Wikis, that's why we aim to achieve this in three major Nigerian languages mentioned earlier, see the attached example of pages provided below in Roman figure II.

Main Challenges The main approaches to solving the above-mentioned challenges and problems are listed below. 1- The existence of many audio files in Wikimedia Commons not linked to any corresponding pages, this project plans to solve this challenge through coaching, training, and linking by participants. 2- Around only 5% of Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo audios are used interchangeably synonymous in each language wiki where audios are needed, which is important to use each audio as a Wikidata entry. 3-Editors on this matter lack experience in using audio as a Wikidata entry, this project seeks to train and coach participants to advance in their editing skills. 4- Unavailability of audio for other categories where those audios are required.

Main approach The main approach to make the above-mentioned changes and to solve the challenges and problems listed are listed below 1- We planned to organize events in each language wiki for local participants. 2- Edithathon will be conducted where participants will be trained on how to upload and link audio in three Wikimedia sister projects synonymously. 3- Pages that don't have audio will be provided through the means of uploading and linking procedure. 4-Guidelines rule will be implemented as a way of understanding editing rules for using audio in another Wikimedia sister project for perfection.

7. What are the planned activities? (required) Please provide a list of main activities. You can also add a link to the public page for your project where details about your project can be found. Alternatively, you can upload a timeline document. When the activities include partnerships, include details about your partners and planned partnerships.

In this project we planned to run six different events in three major language Wikis, the first three will be online training for participants from three language Wikis holding in different time, followed by a general meet-up after the three trainings for collective attendance for the three Wikis that's four, the remaining two will be inperson training and main events.

1. Online meets up with participants to enlighten them about the project (General).
2. Three online traininging session for participants for three different language Wikis.
3. Two different edithathon/training to ensure participants understand what they are trained for
