In the first version of this project, we, the non-recognized Ibibio Group (in the process of applying for official status), translated 314 of the most important messages of the MediaWiki software on translatewiki.net. This new project will serve as a follow-up to the first one, where we are hoping to complete the remaining most important messages translations on the translatewiki.net platform, which will help us increase the chances of getting our own domain to boost the visibility of Ibibio on the internet.

Through this project, we are hoping to reach more Ibibio native speakers who are interested in contributing to the growth of our community.

The new Ibibio language native speakers we are hoping to reach, along with our old members, will contribute to this new project.

A total of 20 old and new editors will be invited for this project.

As usual, a refresher training will be conducted for the old editors, while the new participants will be introduced to Wikimedia projects, especially translatewiki.net, which is the focus of this project.

We're going to award prizes at the end of the project to the top five editors in order to encourage and motivate them.

7. What are the planned activities? (required) Please provide a list of main activities. You can also add a link to the public page for your project where details about your project can be found. Alternatively, you can upload a timeline document. When the activities include partnerships, include details about your partners and planned partnerships.

We are going to host a 2-day in-person translate-a-thon where the remaining most important messages of the MediaWiki software on translatewiki.net will be translated.

Old and new Ibibio language native speakers will be engaged during the program.

During the project, we're hoping to translate at least 200 messages on the translatewiki.net interface.
